Rope Baskets: creative way to incorporate fabric scraps.

I wanted to find a unique handmade gift, so I tried making rope baskets. They look beautiful with plain, natural rope. Wrapping fabric strips around the rope while sewing is a great way to use leftover fabric. Even small, narrow strips create lovely patterns, adding a personal touch to each basket.
